stupid stupid stupid

just came back from singapore today.

accompanied grandma for her yearly check up.

bought two claypots from takashimaya since it's cheaper there.

and this stupid msia custom asked me to pay 50bucks just for that.

is there such a law saying we can't bring pots back?

seriously what the hell?!?!?

it's so obvious they're trying to cari makan.

i asked them why do i have to pay?

Itulah..kamu beli ini perlu bayar 30%. Ini tax.

Mind you. There's nth written there that i have to pay for bringing the pots there.

and they don't even know how to use a calculator.

zzz...they need two guys to press press press and nth came out.

How can 30% of the price be more than the original price?

In the end, i took the calculator and pressed for them. zzz.

I think this is one of the reasons why we can never be one of those developed countries.
